Utamed Málaga: wall coverings in sustainable, artisanal natural esparto

WALL, ATRIUM, AND LATTICE COVERINGS WITH NATURAL ESPARTO (UTAMED)

In this project (UTAMED - MÁLAGA) we had the privilege of carrying out the wall, atrium, and lattice coverings with natural esparto, using more than 70,000 linear meters of esparto to cover an approximate area of 3,000 m², a noble and sustainable material that adds warmth, texture, and artisanal character to the architectural ensemble.

Before its official opening, Utamed University was internationally recognized with two major awards:

A real pride to be able to coat this building in the center of Madrid with almost 2.000m2 of natural esparto. It is the first complete building that is coatwith this natural fiber and the atmosphere that creates this material in its rooms give a great feeling of tranquility and harmony.
